Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Truss platform you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Truss.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Truss. By agreeing to these terms you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@trussquote.org if you suspect unauthorized access.

Truss produces satellite-measured roofing estimates. Estimates are informational only, are generated from third-party imagery and parcel data combined with an AI-assisted pricing model, and do not constitute an offer, bid, contract, or warranty for roofing work. Final scope, materials, code compliance, permitting, and price must be confirmed in writing by a licensed roofing contractor after an on-site assessment. Truss is not a licensed roofing contractor and does not perform installation, repair, or inspection work.

The free live demo is rate limited. Anonymous visitors are capped at three quotes per visitor (identified by cookie, IP address, and a hash of basic browser characteristics) before being asked to contact us.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defraud, or mislead another person.
• Submit addresses or property information you are not authorized to query.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download the service, the widget, or generated quotes.
• Embed the widget on a site you do not own or operate, or strip the platform's logging from the widget.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform, or test it for vulnerabilities without our written permission.

Paid contractors may embed the Truss widget on their own websites. Embed events (impressions, attempts, completions) are recorded with the hosting domain, IP, and user agent for usage reporting and abuse prevention. Quotes generated through the widget are attributed to the contractor account whosedata-account is configured on the embed. You are responsible for the accuracy of the embed configuration and for any required disclosures on your own site.

Subscriptions are processed by a PCI-compliant payment processor. Recurring fees are billed in advance for each billing period. You authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each period. Pricing, applicable taxes, and any introductory or trial terms are presented at checkout. You may cancel at any time from the account dashboard or by emailing support@trussquote.org; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Except where required by law, fees already charged are non-refundable.

All content, software, and technology on the Truss platform is owned by or licensed to Truss and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

THE PLATFORM AND ALL ESTIMATES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT MEASUREMENTS WILL BE EXACT, OR THAT ESTIMATES WILL MATCH FINAL CONTRACTOR PRICING. ESTIMATES ARE NOT ENGINEERING REPORTS AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE INSURANCE, CODE, OR LICENSED PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUSS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or to protect the security of the platform. You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by emailing support@trussquote.org. Sections 4 (last paragraph), 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Each party waives any right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
